SO.. whats been going on. Hmm…

  • The USB ports on my laptop have stopped working, severaly limiting my plug & play action and giving me yet another IT challenge. Again I think I did someting bad whilst attempting to install OSX on a USB hard drive. That OS is going to be the death of me.
  • I found out yesterday I am getting picked up from Helsinki Airport in a limo this tuesday - tossing up whether to greet the driver by throwing my mobile phone at him (al-la-naomi-campbell) or demand he carry me to the car Kevin-Kostner-Bodyguard-style.
  • This is currently in the lead for my song-of-the-year award (which itself is currently rivaling Eurovision for title of ‘award with the least impact on the world music scene’). I have somehow listened to it over 40 times since I started recording my music stats a few months ago (mainly because its on my work computer I think). I absolutely love the piano in it, especially the part where it sounds like she is just bashing the keys (”…through the tears and the laughter…”) - makes me want to play again so badly.
  • I’m not sure about this blog theme now… its not so original (actually iits the default WordPress one *shudder with unoriginality*). Suggestions welcome - post a comment if you have any ideas.
  • At swimming training last night, I was laughing to myself (under water) about a Nomi-related joke between Chris and myself, only to get out of the pool and find a single marble placed precariously close to my water bottle. I kid you not. If you’ve seen the movie, you’ll understand the significance and sheer spookiness of this… and why I had to run to my bag and take a photo:
