… that people in this country are mad, is my recent discovery that they actually get EXCITED when the weather forecast is for “freezing”, ie. sub zero temperatures. I’ve seen people actually clap their hands in excitement and make phone calls to friends to giddily announce they’ve just seen their first snow of the season. Yay!

Meanwhile I am trying to figure out how to sew hot water bottles into my clothing without looking fat and contemplating which pieces of furniture in my apartment to burn first.

Someone even tried to tell me that temperatures below zero in winter means fewer bugs in summer, but I am so not buying that. I think are about 3 insects in this whole country.

I havet been posting a lot (or vlogging… remember that craze?) because I am flat out preparing for a few rather high profile presentations in the US over the next couple of months. Also found out today i have to attend a conference in Barcelona later this year. Probably at the Hilton.

Damn.
