Hmmm… this new theme SEEMED like a good idea on paper, but now it seems that all it’s really doing is showing the world the various stages of my receding hairline and shiny forehead. Not my most attractive feature, I know.

Will go back to the drawing board I think.

Today (in between crying over calculus theories and doing an assignment on folic acid and birth defects) I re-partitioned my hard drive and installed Ubuntu in parallel to XP. Actually really cool - have made it look just like OSX, so i get all the benefits without having to become a typical Mac person.

It seems a lot faster than Windows, but that is probably because its a fresh install and not bloated with the 5000 programs I use (and need) on a daily basis. I actually still think XP is the best o/s out there, am still amazed at how much I can do on my basic PC latop, 10x more than I could do if it was a Mac. But it’s always nice to see what else is out there.
