When you get lost, which happens literally every time I leave the hotel, there’s noone to help figure out where you are
Being stared at, usually with a hint of pity, by happy couples and families.
Eating crap food from convenience stores, or overpriced luke-warm room service meals, because nothing feels as lonely as sitting in a crowded restaurant by yourself.
The feeling that you should be enjoying the experience, one shouldn’t need to be with someone else to feel content.
There’s noone to stop you over-analysing your life, getting depressed and making top 5 lists.

Not for the live of me do I remember a time when you made a top 5 of things to love, enjoy or feel somewhat ambivalent about.
What happened to the positivity you were gonna spread all over the world?
Hugs, care bear.
