1. When you get lost, which happens literally every time I leave the hotel, there’s noone to help figure out where you are
  2. Being stared at, usually with a hint of pity, by happy couples and families.
  3. Eating crap food from convenience stores, or overpriced luke-warm room service meals, because nothing feels as lonely as sitting in a crowded restaurant by yourself.
  4. The feeling that you should be enjoying the experience, one shouldn’t need to be with someone else to feel content.
  5. There’s noone to stop you over-analysing your life,  getting depressed and making top 5 lists.
