Or maybe you should. But you might want to stay away from its site of origin (to use a very work-related term): www.LOLjesus.com
The image is a bit grotesque, but its from one of the most popular christian films of all time (POTC) so its probably nothing you haven’t seen before.
But if you do click on it, and are offended (sub-mission accomplished) please tell me which part isn’t true?
A few years ago however, even I would have been offended by this. But now I can see that the only way to tackle something something so unnecessary, illogical and harmful is to make fun of it - so that’s my policy from now on.
And next time I’m at Uluru, I am so climbing that rock.
I used to be the biggest advocate of not climbing it, in the interests of not offending the natives, but then I realised that I have no respect for any other religion, so why respect that of the Aboriginals?
Ok, maybe their religions didn’t have the negative impact on my life that christianity did, but hanging onto superstition and living ones life according to chinese-whispers is so last century.
Yes, I’m pissy - my iPhone has been in the country for ONE WEEK (according to USPS.com) and still hasn’t been delivered and I got a 130 euro fine for - allegedly - going through a red light. As if.
