Talk about a moment in performing arts history!

While sorting through some old CD’s yesterday, I stumbled across a disc onto which a family friend had burned some old VHS footage of my first ever stage appearance. This is the 1982 school concert, of my first year in school - which I think makes me 5 or 6yrs old.

The theme was a royal wedding or something (fairy wedding?), which makes sense as it was around the time when the whole country was loopy over Diana and Charles tying the knot.

I’m the priest (irony of ironies). After this scene, I probably went backstage and molested myself.

Note I clearly had the starring role and that I was already busting out some wicked moves at this age! If you listen closely to the start, you might notice a slight mix up with my lines, but hey - at least I had a firm grip on that microphone!
